Phil Seymour - the other half of the Dwight Twilley Band, passed away from cancer but the first album was a great pop classic. Precious To Me alone would be worthy of any pop fans top pop songs of all time list.

The Auteurs were a Brit band with a glam feel. Great sound and different which is a typical Brit attribute. Show Girls and How Could I Be Wrong are a couple of
standouts but its all good.

Velvet Elvis were from Kentucky from the late 80' and signed to enigma records (great label). Produced by Mitch Easter from REM fame amongst others. Great pop and worth it for What In The World alone if you can find it. Unfortunately I have it only on cassette.

Ian McNabb was the former leader of the Icicle Works ( remember (Birds Cry) Whisper To A Scream ) fame? But he has put out some great solo lps This one is my fave but not by much. Has a guitar edge sound with a melodic voice. very interesting sound. Don't Put Your Spell On Me or Closer To The Sun are good ones here but most any song is good.

Uncle Green - Book Of Bad Thoughts - if you like the Smithereens or possibly the Candyskins you may just enjoy Uncle Green. Produced by Brendan O'brian who has Matthew Sweet amongst many others under his producing belt. Faves include I Don't Wanna Know About It, Bellingham, He Woke Up Naked, and The Blue Light.

Moon Martin - Shots from a Cold Nightmare / Escape from Domination. This is two lps in one and has essentially the best of his stuff. Wrote Bad Case Of Loving You (Robert Palmer) and Cadillac Walk (Mink Deville) amongst
others. Slick production and great pop writing. Early 80`s fun. Listen to Rolene and I've Got A Reason along with others already mentioned.
