22nd Jan ALTERNATIVE BURNS EVENING WITH BEER’S LAW (TBC)
For many years Jan, Phil and Tony have been presenting us with great evenings of Scottish music (including Burns material) and a quiz. Tony’s address to the haggis is something not to be missed! Work commitments take them away frequently but they will make every endeavour to keep the tradition alive and be with us this evening.

29th Jan JOHN CONNELLY
John Connelly, of ‘Fiddler’s Green’ and Punch and Judy Man fame, comes from Grimsby. He has been on the folk circuit for a long time with appearances at Sidmouth and many other festivals. His songs are on the performance lists of many people. This evening provides a chance for Windmill punters to hear one of this country’s great folk legends.

26th Feb PATRICK WASS and STEVE SPEARING
Patrick and Steve play regularly at the Poppy’s club as solo performers. Both are excellent guitarists. They have recently wowed audiences when they showed us what they can do when they play the blues together – hence the invitation to be our guest tonight at the Windmill. An evening not to be missed!

19th Mar ST PATRICK'S NIGHT with KELLYS AYE
Yes, it’s that time of year again! – an evening of Irish music provided by Kathy and Felix. There will be songs (modern and traditional) and tunes from Ireland. Chorus sheets will be provided for you to sing along. Oil your throats and come prepared to sing!

2nd Apr JIM McLEAN
Another chance to hear this wonderful performer – a great singer, guitarist and song writer. But if you come regularly to the club you will know this already! Make sure you get there early – seats could be at a premium.

18th Jun Feature evening with Julie & Owen Munford and Phil & Chris Pittman
Over the past few years Julie & Owen and Phil & Chris have frequently performed as floor singers at the Windmill and at Poppy's. Audiences have always enjoyed their performances and we really look forward to hearing both couples perform extended sets and showing us what they can do.

1st Oct SUE GRAVES
Sue bowled us over with her singing at the Boar’s Bridge festival in June. She has a beautiful voice and accompanies herself on the guitar. Her material includes songs from people like Joan Baez and Joni Mitchell as well as more modern performers. We can promise you a real treat this evening.

29th Oct TONY FORTADO
This is Tony Furtado's first gig on his UK tour to promote his new CD "Deep Water". Tony is a Californian banjo and slide guitar player of Portuguese and Italian heritage. Born in Pleasanton, California, he currently lives in Portland, Oregon. We are really lucky to have been able to book him, and are in for a great night!

5th Nov JIM COZENS
Jim has been our guest on several occasions. Unfortunately (for us!) he has moved to Spain, but his appearance at the recent Boar’s Bridge festival reminded us just how good a performer he is. We’ve persuaded him to pay a return visit to this country and to the Windmill. This is definitely a date to highlight in your diaries!

10th Dec Double Birthday Celebration!
For those who don’t know, Gary Payne and Mike Baker share the date of their birthdays. At this stage we don’t know who might turn up on the occasion – anything could happen! But, whatever it is, it will be fun!!

17th Dec Christmas party
Performers are encouraged to include seasonal material – but this is not compulsory. (We usually have lots of performers at the Christmas party.) Food will be provided, but a small contribution to the food table will be welcomed.
