Don't forget that ALL THURSDAYS not shown below are still terrific fun - we always have wonderful local musicians playing a variety of styles, songs and music

22nd Jan THE ALTERNATIVE BURNS EVENING with THE CROW ROAD BAND Another wonderful evening to celebrate the birthday of Robert Burns, provided by Jan, Phil and Alan. There will be haggis (with the usual accompaniments), lots of Scottish songs, and scope for audience participation. Always a popular evening, so get there early!
29th Jan CHRIS MORETON Chris is one of the country’s finest acoustic guitarists, recognized all over the UK as well as the States. Past winner of Acoustic Guitarist of the year, Chris also will entertain us with his banjo and/or mandolin. A very welcome return visit.
26th Feb THE SONS OF NAVARONE The Belgian based band will be returning to play at the Windmill. Over the years, Eugene O’Brien has played in bands with Gary Payne. He is now based in Belgium where, along with 3 local musicians, he formed The Sons. They have always provided a most entertaining evening on their Windmill visits, and will no doubt do so again.
18th Mar ST. PATRICK'S NIGHT with KELLYS AYE
Come and celebrate St Patrick’s night at the Windmill, with an evening of Irish music. Felix and Kathy will present a program of traditional and modern songs and tunes. The audience is encouraged to sing along with the better known chorus songs (chorus sheets provided). Always great fun!
15th Apr JIM COZENS
Excellent singer / song writer / guitarist, Jim Cozens, has played with some of the top names in the British music scene. Over the last year he has performed a number of times as a floor singer at the Windmill. We are delighted to welcome him on this occasion as our guest. A top class performance is guaranteed!
20th May DULAMAN
Dulaman are :- Anna Kelly - Fiddle & Vocals; David Pickering - Mandolin & Vocals; Eleanor Cross - Bass & Vocals; James Dewdney - Guitar & Vocals. Two of them recently reached the semi finals of the BBC young folk musician competition! They write a lot of their own material. Up & coming youngsters!
10th Jun JAY PARRACK
When Jay guested for us a couple of years ago with her family, they took the audience by storm. Jay has a wonderful and versatile voice and she accompanies herself with guitar or piano. Whether performing solo or accompanied by the family or other talented musicians, Jay is sure to provide a wonderful evening.
8th Jul BBQ
We arrange the food and the weather, you turn up and enjoy. Held in the pub garden, followed by music in the club room as usual. Always a popular event. Numbers and payment for food are required in advance (at least 1 week before the event). Details of food choices and cost (subsidized to regulars) will be available later.
22nd Jul JIM MCLEAN
Club favourite, Jim McLean, has supported the Windmill over the years. Work has kept him away recently, so we are very pleased that he is returning as our guest in July. He is an excellent guitarist and singer. His repertoire includes self penned as well as other modern and traditional songs. an evening not to be missed!
19th Aug THEME - Singalong Songs
Unlike many clubs, we remain open throughout the summer, but instead of having a guest in August we usually have a theme evening. Last year's singalong night was such fun that we have decided to have another one this year. Performers are encouraged to dig out songs that everyone can join in with and the audience will sing along with enthusiasm!
23rd Sep BRAM TAYLOR
Bram comes from 'up north' and he has that special northern sense of humour which appears during his performances. His material is a mixture of modern and traditional which he delivers with a clear singing voice and guitar accompaniment. A very welcome return visit from a wonderful artist.
7th Oct The TUDOR LODGE Charity Evening
Tudor Lodge are never short of ideas when it comes to organising an excellent evening at the club. John and Lynne are presently keeping their ideas for 2004 under wraps, but if last year is anything to go by, the evening will be tremendous fun and we will raise lots of money for charity. The target for this year is over £700. Can we do it?! We'll certainly make a huge effort to beat this.
28th Oct HOT STRING QUINTET (Germany)
It's several years since this band first played at our club. Their music is infectious and we've always enjoyed their playing. Worth making an effort to come along if you've not heard them before.
18th Nov A BAND LIKE ALICE
It's nearly 4 years since they performed here, so we are delighted to welcome back the 'Alice Band' (nothing to do with Beckham!) to the club. Gary Payne has played with them since their formation and Sherryl is now a regular Alice performer. Come early if you want a seat. Bound to be a full house!
25th Nov *** CLUB ANNIVERSARY ***
We've been meeting at Ewshot for 12 years and surely that's worth a celebration! And how better to celebrate than by raising a glass - hence tonight's theme - 'Drinking Songs'.
9th Dec BIRTHDAY BOYS (Mike Baker & Gary Payne)
Mike Baker shares a birthday with Gary Payne, so they have agreed to be our guests this evening. Both are excellent musicians and over the years they have played together in various bands. This is a rare chance to hear them play together at The Windmill.
16th Dec THE CHRISTMAS PARTY
You'll have to get into the festive mood early this year as we are having the party a week earlier than usual (the following Thursday being very close to Christmas). There'll be the usual food provided by the management and by those of you who wish to make a small contribution. Performers are encouraged to include Christmas songs in their sets, especially if there are songs that we can all join in with.
