PROGRAMME FOR 2020

January 10 Singers/open evening
We are starting the year with a non-guest evening . This will give our local performers a chance to stand up in front of the audience and show us what they can do.

February 14 No Small Thing
Liss and Steve Messenger are a popular local duo. Liss's main instrument is the violin while Steve works wonders on the guitar. They have recently added a third member to their band - Eugene on bass. They play a wide range of material from the more traditional to modern. We look forward to hearing the new version of 'No Small Thing'!

March 13 Cajun Boogaloo
Cajun Boogaloo are Geoff Chapman, Lesley Shatwell and Bob Shatwell. Their material covers Country, Cajun, Old Time, Bluegrass and Folk Roots. They play violin, double bass and guitar. Last time they performed at Hawley they had some of the audience up dancing - so be warned, it could happen again!

April 10 Singers night
As in 2019, the club is meeting on Good Friday. If last year is anything to go by, this will be a very popular evening and will highlight the depth of talent we have at the club.

May 8 Charity Evening with Lynne Whiteland and Friends
Lynne will be in charge this evening. She runs the wonderful Boars Bridge Festival, which supports the Berkshire MS Therapy Centre. She will no doubt have former festival guests on the programme and all money lifted on the evening will go towards running the festival and consequently the charity it supports.
