The Committee of Downham Market Festival is again working hard towards preparing FESTIVAL 2003.
The dates will be Sunday 25th May to Sunday 1st June.
The theme for Festival 2003 will be MOVIE-TIME IN DOWNHAM and it is hoped that many of the events thoughout the week will reflect this theme. It is also hoped that the theme will present a wide variety of opportunities to all those who would like to take part in the Carnival Procession on BANK HOLIDAY MONDAY – 26th May. The Carnival Procession is not only for large decorated floats but also for any decorated vehicles, cycles or people in “fancy dress” (groups or individuals).
Special attractions are being arranged for the Carnival on the Howdale in Downham Market – keep an eye on the Festival website for details of these nearer to Carnival Day.
