 We are proud to announce these All-Metal Top of the Range modular and complete kits for Corridor, Suburban and Parcels Stock at realistic prices. Also accessory packs and sub-kits [including interiors] for Bachmann & other kit-built Mk.1s, such as Westdale, JLTRT & Easi-Build. These are among the most detailed coach kits ever released in 7mm scale and we have largely taken the decision to produce these kits following many people’s disappointment with the ready-to-run MK.1 stock currently on offer. They have also been developed for the ultra-detailed MK.1 stock that is required for a BR late ‘50s/early ‘60s era layout featuring a parcels depot and carriage sidings. The price for these kits without interiors will be comparable to most other coach kits on the market, despite the high level of detailing. The interior kits will not, however, be cheap - being fully-detailed and consisting of many parts, they will add significantly to the cost. They will appeal to those modellers who desire just a few coaches built to the very highest level of detail. |

| This will be the only bogie type we will be producing for this range - the axleboxes are individually sprung and each bogie has full internal brake and girder detail. Both single and twin bolster and normal and heavy duty types are catered for, together with the optional ‘box’ styled vibration damping units fitted on bogies used on catering vehicles etc. A dynamo pulley wheel is provided. Full colour-coded instructions and photo-references are included. Requires wheels/bearings - Price Note - for modellers who wish to use a ‘basic’ bogie - the ABS Models [Ex-Cavalier] B.1, Commonwealth or B.4 types can easily be adjuisted to fit to our underframe kits [see below] |

| Available in three versions, this kit features a fully-detailed underframe with almost all the girder-work and trussing of the prototype. Full vac. brake gear is included with the layout for both main ‘V’ hanger arrangements + superbly detailed dynamo, switchbox and battery box assembles. Accurate and prototypical buffers and vacuum & steam heat pipe assemblies are included. Buckeye couplers are provided, together with the buffer saddles and vestibule buffers for the 58’ BG version. | This set of fine etchings in brass & nickel silver + high grade castings are ideal for transforming your RTR MK.1 stock or that built from other manufactuers kits. It contains all end fittings, [including the gangways], detailed alarm gear, jumpers and steps. Detailed quarter-light frames are provided, together with door handles, hinges and lav. window vents, plus train name & destination boards, together with mounting brackets for these + detailed roof fittings - not just vents but everything, including rain strips. | This pack provides for a complete guard’s compartment for a BG or for any long-underframe corridor brake type [BSK/BSO/BCK/BFK]. It includes all partitions & flooring + and all the fittings such as the handbrake, seat, desk, letter rack, heater, food warmer, sliding door, periscopes and more. A fire extinguisher, sand buckets, spare vac. pipe & screw coupling + ladder & cycle hooks for the luggage area are also included. | |

| BR Mk.1 Coaches - Complete Kits | |

These kits include all of our super-detailed end, gangway, body and roof fittings plus, of course, the relevant length chassis kit. They also include our own BR Mk.1/2 Series bogie kit [see previous page]. If you wish to use a more basic bogie, you can use the ABS Models B1, Commonwealth or B.4 bogies - but we think that would be sacrilege on kits of this detail but any of the kits can be supplied WITHOUT BOGIES by specifying this at the point of ordering. If ordering a coach kit without bogies - deduct £40.00 from the price listed below. These coaches offer many features unique to our own kits: A double skin coach end with the inner panels fitted to the roof - these then fixing to the coach floor and through matching locations in our chassis to enable removal of both roof and chassis for maintenance purposes. This is also of immense help at the masking and painting stage. A fully detailed cantrail/guttering arrangement that also serves to locate the roof along the full length of its interface with the coach sides. ‘In register’ double-skin window frames for ultra realism, that also enables glue-free fitting of most glazing - which can be removed and replaced easily in case of damage or scratching. Gone will be the days of glazing falling off inside the carriage - with access requiring major disturbance to your coach body or roof work , as everything is accessible by simply undoing four screws. The main van/Guard's compartments windows can be removed for replacing or during painting, after the roof has been detached. A completely detailed planked interior body shell is included - held in place by securing the roof. This includes a superb Guard's compartment [complete down to the letter rack and food heater!] and all this can be painted as a separate unit and dropped into the body.
