The English Electric Canberra
Some of you will know that many years back we began work on a series of complete 1/48th Scale Canberra kits, to be in injection resin, cast metal and etched brass. We stopped work on these when we first heard [some five years ago] from Airfix that a series of injection moulded kits might be forthcoming. Now these are to be released - but like a bus, you wait for ages and then TWO groups of kits come along. Not just the kits from Airfix - but those from Classic Airframes too! We will be using much of the tooling we have amassed over the years for our own Canberra project for the production of a whole series of comprehensive Detail & Conversion sets for the Airfix Canberras - as they are released. At this time, we shall also release "spin-off" sets matched to the Classic Airframes kits. More details of contents and prices in due course!
