Our Current Range of 120mm & 90mm British & Allied Forces Figure kits. These are resin figures with cast weapons and detailing - most are supplied with etched insignia and a title plaque, plus a scenic base

Firing Line figures are in resin. Weapons and some smaller parts are cast for strength, while in most kits, fine additional detailing is in photo-etched metal. Any removal of resin items from moulding blocks is kept to a minimum. All figure sets are supplied with painting notes and instructions as required. Some figures are supplied with a colour photograph for assistance in painting and assembly.

Why Choose British Army Figure Subjects?

Because there is a rich history of subjects, with some British Army regiments being able to trace their lineage back over 300 years.

Because of the sheer variety of uniforms that this long history has produced, added to by the requirement, for much of this time, for British soldiers to serve in so many regions of the world. Because the insignia worn by British soldiers is so complex - It is a vast and rewarding subject for study, and will lead you to undertake many interesting conversions from the figure kits that Firing Line, and other manufacturers, offer. Because British Forces figures stand out in a display - this is due to the imbalance of figure subjects currently on offer, and displayed in competitions. Firing Line is seeking to help rectify this imbalance - there will be no nazi war criminal, ‘Vlad The Impailer’, or ‘Pin Head’ figures from us!

If you have a serious interest in British Army subjects - there can be no better magazine to collect than ‘Regiment’. This is published by Nexus, and each issue covers a regiment through its campaign history, uniforms, insignia etc. You can use these magazines in conjunction with several of our figures to produce many interesting conversion subjects.

Register your interest with us - if you want to be kept on our mailing list for the future releases in our British & Allied Forces Series - let us know - giving us either your postal and/or E-mail address.

WW I Figures

The Great War

Probably no other area of the figure hobby offers as much scope for intricate diorama modelling as World War One. It is ironic that something so horrific as trench warfare can offer such possibilities for portraying very moving and intense scenes. Firing Line offers you by far the largest range of WW1 subjects in 120mm. Where applicable, each figure kit comes with a super detailed weapon or equipment, an insignia set with rank, skill badges, wound stripes and good conduct chevrons etc., together with a battle-patch painting template to assist you in applying any of the endless combinations of colour patches worn by soldiers fighting on the Western Front in the later period of the war.

With several beautiful vignettes also available, plus our highly-praised 1/15th Scale British Army WW1 Tank at over 650mm long, you can now build an incomparable series of chronologically-ordered WW1 models and displays.
