These paintings from the past
two or three years have been influenced by two
books which have done more than anything to expand the
style and scope of my paintings. I have been so impressed
by the quality and inspiration in these books and many more
since, all published by Watson-Gupthill, that now I look
for this publisher's names first when I visit a book shop.
