After the C.O. stumbled across this web site The JoyRider - Flight Motion Simulator 2003 saw the the Sqn embark on it's largest project to date in the shape of a Flight Simulator!

So in January the idea was put forward to the cadets and construction started on a wooden framed motion simulator. Progress upto June was slow but steady and the simulator gradually took shape.

BUT! WO's Paffey and Starr were quick to point out some of the structural problems that the wooden design had and on the 21st of July the skelington of Mk2 was delivered to Sqn.

This time it was a full metal construction initally welded together by WO Paffey but being constructed, finished and wired into the computer by the cadets under the watchfull eye of the Staff!
