After all of their training, and all of the waiting while the CO obtained his Basic Expedition Leader award,
the cadets FINALLY got to complete thier D of E expedition in a joint expedition with St Athan and Penarth Squadrons
They had all done practice expeditions and exercises and this was all that was required to finally get their Bronze award.
When the date was finally announced, five of the ten were able to make it for that weekend and knew that if they completed
the weekend successfully, they would qualify as the first five DofE holders the Squadron had, had in quite a while.
So they were "quite" nervous!
