This was the first Joint Sqn training exercise that we have run with Lydney for 6 years and the day was a great success |
| The first thing the 2 Sqns did when they arrived was get to know each other slighlty better by camming each other up. |

Then the cadets built a bivvy site and then for the rest of the day the exercises set off from there. |
| Ponchos were used to create the bivvies, and a seperate cooking site was properlly set up for some of the top qulaity 'gormet' cooking that was seen later on. (as long as you class beans as Gormet food that is - CO.) |

Next came a bit of Movement practive. Starting with the kitten crawl |
|
|
Then the leopard crawl |

Some ghostwalking always goes down well in daylight. Especially in large open areas. This proves the CO like a joke as much as the next man! |
|
|
This is the CO's favourite photo, showing his Sqn ghost walking off into the distance.
(it was even funnier on the day - CO) |
![]() The day ended up with a stalking and observation exercise where the 2 CPls' (shown above) were assigned to the Staff and the rest of the camp had to monitor and record thier movements, numbers and positions without being noticed. |

But seeing as it was a nice sunny day and they were in no rush to get the job done, a bit of posing was done as well. |
| A nice end to a nice day! |
