2272 (Chepstow) Squadron of the Air Training Corps, was formed in 1952 and was (and still is) located at the Squadron Headquarters in Lower Church Street, Chepstow.

Over the last 52 years the Squadron has seen 9 Commanding Officers, 4 Warrant Officers and numerous other staff and helpers watch over and train many, many young boys and more recently girls through their life as an Air Cadet.
