Over the years we have had many succesful athletes in Chepstow. 2 of the most high profile recently have been.

Cdt Clare who has represented the Air Training Corps at Under 15 level in the Shot Putt. After a succesfull first apperance at RAF Cosford he won the gold medal, after that he went from strength to strength procceding through the wing, region and then into the Inter Corps championships getting the gold he deserved from his hard work with a huge throw of 11.89m. He has also represented the Wing Rugby but unfortunatly he was not to have the success that he had in the athletics and did not proceed into the Reigon team.

Cdt Porter one of Chepstows Athletes has also represented the Wing and Region at Rugby this year at RAF Cosford.He has represented the Wing and qualified for the Region team last year but sadly was not able to compete because he was representing the County on the same day in the Inter Region Athletics. Away from Squadron Sport CDT Porter represents the County and Wales at 100m Hurdles.
