John Gillburn and Dorothy Little
This is the fourth of the five families assembled from the parish registers of Yorkshire. It comprises a single family from the parish of Full Sutton, which lies some 8 miles east of York.
John Gilburn's baptism has not been traced, but he married Dorothy Litle at Full Sutton 20 Novenber 1721. Three children were baptised there, but all died in infancy and were buried at Full Sutton: John (26 Jan 1722/3 - 25 May 1723); Thomas (18 Jun 1726 - 22 Jun 1726); and Ann (17 Jan 1729 - 20 Jan 1729). John was buried at Full Sutton February 1732, Dorothy was buried with her husband 21 January 1736/7.
