The Old Hall
The Old Hall is a splendid Victorian Country House, recently refurbished by the present owners. The Hall retains a wealth of period features, including a grand oak staircase, fine corniced ceilings, working window shutters and full size antique billiard table. These features combine to create an authentic period atmosphere; the perfect surroundings for get-togethers, celebrations, relaxation or even work. This fully equipped and completely self-contained wing of Crackenthorpe Hall can be your very own period Country House, for a weekend, Set in splendid grounds, with private fishing, this prestigious home, provides very spacious and comfortable, centrally heated accommodation for up to 14 people. The House is within 2 miles of the ancient and attractive market town of Appleby-in-Westmorland; which has an ancient Castle, Churches, a good range of shops, Inns and restaurants, plus an 18 hole golf course and indoor swimming pool. A host of other activities and attractions are within easy reach.

Accommodation
Front door into entrance hall with access to W.C., Kitchen and great Hall. The fitted kitchen is very well equipped with electric oven with grill and microwave oven. There is a dishwasher and washing machine, fridge and freezer. In addition, there is a full set of crockery, cutlery and cooking equipment to facilitate catering for up to 14 people. Great Hall with full size Billiard/Snooker table, oil fired 'real flame' stove, grand oak staircase; The great hall gives access to drawing room, dining room and the ground floor twin bed bedroom. Splendid (41ft) drawing room with fine plaster cornice, chandeliers and open fire. Fine period (31ft) dining room with original plaster ribbed and moulded ceiling, large oak table to seat 14. Grand oak staircase to mezzanine floor with two adjoining interconnected twin bedded rooms with wash basins; small bathroom with W.C and electric shower. Easy rise oak staircase continues to first floor with two large double bedrooms (each with washbasins and col. T.V. s), Main bathroom with W.C. and electric shower and two further twin bedded rooms, with wash basins. Further small bathroom with original mahogany lavatory unit.
