Hereford
If you would like to join us, we
meet Monday evenings at 7:15pm starting 14th September 2009 at The Farmer's
Club, Widemarsh Street, Hereford HR4 9EP. The club welcomes players of all
ages and abilities. For more information, please contact the secretary, Alan
Leary (telephone, 01432 358259). The club competitions include the Hereford
Championship and a Knock-out competition.
Leominster
There is an informal chess night at the Chequers pub
in Leominster.
Presteigne
Although just across the border and in Wales,
the nearest other clubs are in Herefordshire, Worcestershire and Shropshire
and that is why we're on this website! Starting on 16 September 2008, we
meet on Tuesdays at 7:30 pm in the Farmers Inn, Hereford Street, Presteigne
