The 2008-9 Division 2 Champions are Hagley

A closely fought division with seven sides competing, only one of which did not lead the pack at some stage. The early Division 2 leadership was shared by Droitwich and Hagley between November and December and they were joined by Halesowen at the start of the new year and Headless Cross in February. Although Droitwich drew ahead in sole lead briefly at the end of February, Kidderminster came from behind and were in the lead at the start of April only to have their hopes confounded by Hagley who beat Greenlands. The crucial match Kidderminster 2 vs Halesowen saw the latter team emerge clear victors and they had to wait to see the result of the last match of the season: Hagley just pipped Halesowen by drawing the match with Redditch to take the Division 2 title. This was a fitting tribute to the vigorous leadership offered by Hagley's President, Andy Moore.
