By Rail
TGV direct to Angouleme.From Paris the journey time is only 2 hours 15 mins and from Lillie 4 hours. This means direct access, without flying,from London Waterloo to Angouleme in a little over 6 hours.
Car hire is available from all the airports and from Angouleme railway station.

Brittany Ferries or Condor Ferries Portsmouth-St Malo (420 kms)Brittany Ferries Portsmouth-Caen (492 kms)
From the A10 motorway exit junction 34 signed St Jean D'Angely.Take the D939 signed towards Angouleme.
Continue on the D939 until you reach the outskirts of Matha.
Turn left on the D739 signed towards Beauvais-Sur-Matha and Airge.If you miss this turn off within 100 meters you come to a roundabout which has at its centre a number of EU flags flying from it. Merely take the last exit and then the first on the right this is the start of the D739.
Staying on the D739 for appox 4 kms turn right at the junction signed towards Siecq and then take the first right signed towards Massac.
We are the first house on the right after the signpost for Fondouce.
