CAN-MAP pages feature certain common design and function elements
they contain:
- member’s contact details: phone number, e-mail and postal address
- a brief description of their work
- a link to their web site address
- a link to the complete list of CAN members
- 6 direct links to other CAN members or related external sites.
links to other CAN members have two parts:
- a direct link to their web site
- a link to their CAN-MAP page
members select which other members to link to on the basis of their associations or common interests - maybe through working together, or simply because they dig those other cats
thus, as well as using direct links to sites, by clicking on CAN-MAP links, visitors can navigate the network to explore connections and relationships within the community
