Education
I studied art at school and, more recently, at Sunningwell School of Art, near Abingdon. My particular areas of interest are landscape, life studies and still life. I use mainly acrylic paints, watercolour pencils and charcoal. I have used these media at residential courses in a number of different places in England and Wales. I am continually seeking to develop my skills and to try new methods.
Experience
I have been painting and drawing for over thirty years. In recent years, I have been a regular exhibitor at exhibitions organised by Abingdon Artists, a group of mainly amateur artists. Some of my works have been sold.
Where I am based
My home is in Abingdon, a market town near Oxford. Many of my works are of buildings and landscapes in England and Wales, although I have also sketched while on holidays in the USA and South Africa.
