website. Kilbirnie.Com is webmastered by local Kilbirnian Tom Woodruff.
Tom writes "The interactivity offered by Kilbirnie.Com allows anyone with an interest in the town to upload pictures, post news of special events, whatever they may be. Membership of the site is required but this is free. I am Brian H Donohoe, Member of Parliament for Cunninghame South. Since entering Parliament in 1992 I have devoted my time to looking after the interests of the constituents in the area I represent. As a Member of Parliament I am in London from Monday to Thursday, but am able to hold surgeries on each Friday to be available to constituents. Rotary club of Kilwinning on Tuesday evening the 18th of March was Stan
Butchard a teacher and historian. His subject was the civil engineering
aspects of building Hadrian’s Wall.

Kilwinning town, which lies on the River Garnock a few miles inland from Ardrossan by way of busy Stevenston, is notable as the home of Freemasonry in Scotland. Mother Lodge Kilwinning (No 0) was founded in 1107, at the same time as the Abbey, of which the few remains have been incorporated into the present Parish Church.. |
