A3D SCULPTURE BY JON EDGAR
© Charles Warner 11 April 2013 edition
To celebrate the regeneration of Hindhead after closure of the old A3 through the Devil's Punch
Bowl at Hindhead, the
National Trust has supported the
Hindhead A3D project. Close to the National Trust Cafe at
Hindhead, on the route of the old road, is a new sculpture by
Jon Edgar, in which local themes
are interwoven by carving into a block of Portland stone, originally weighing 3 tonnes.
