Issue Nine.

Launched on 14th August 1999 when Burnley finally got one over on Chesterfield - Burnley's bogey side of the 1990s. The general feeling in the editorial suite was that there was genuine optimism following the spectacular 11 game unbeaten run at the end of season 98/99. Things seemed to be going well off the field with the announcement that the new Bee Hole End would be renamed the 'Jimmy McIlroy Stand'.

Highlights of the edition:
Rambling Russ interviews the legendary Billy Elliot - who was infamously sent off for his 'look of intent'
Gonad Gosling makes his Sausage debut and explains why Russ Ward didn't figure in Issue 8
Our writers react to the shirt scandal - should BFC shirts only be available from the club shop?
A justified pop at Cardiff City with suitable invective aimed at their fans who were battling with Millwall fans on the opening day of the season

Best Quote:
Speaking about his disillusionment with the Premiership, Rambling Russ writes:
"Let monopoly money be a feature the new league... and then let the whole damn thing collapse into its own greedy mess.
Then maybe some years later, someone, somewhere, in a smoky town centre pub can re-invent the game as it was and ever should have been.
Maybe it's just as well the Premier League has its own trophy - there aren't many playing in that league who're fit to hold the old one aloft."
