Issue Seven.

Launched on a dismal Saturday afternoon at home to Chesterfield. A dismal game followed and the Clarets lost 2-1. The cover shows a gaggle of scantily-clad birds on the pitch at Turf Moor with the caption "Stan Buys Mellon" - a pun on the recent purchase of midfielder Mickey Mellon. Ternent had just spent over a million pounds improving the team, though the discontent of the supporters was growing steadily. This edition saw Ally Pickering named as the Man of the Moment. He scored an own goal the day we went on sale!
Highlights of the edition:
Feeling Miserable - Spong regrets missing the Clarets' humiliating first round FA Cup defeat at the hands of Darlington
He Needs a Little Time - why the supporters should keep faith with Stan Ternent
New Recruits - Mr Tickle admits his embarrassment at taking his mates on the Turf
Best Quote:
"This 'management' team is the biggest joke ever foisted upon the long suffering loyal Clarets fans. We were even fined and ordered to pay Bury compensation for these two jokers"
