Left to fend for himself in the restaurant, the maitre d' is not a happy man. With the arrival of two beautiful guests come dark secrets, desperate longings and a long lost brother. All is definitely not well in the kitchen as passions rise to boiling point.

Crouching Chef, Hidden Waiter sees Attik Dance's brand of thrilling physicality mixed with intimate theatre and visual comedy in an eccentric tale of culinary disaster. And that's just for starters.

Directed and choreographed by artistic director Lois Taylor, the work brings to the table creative design by Bill Mitchell (Kneehigh Theatre) and theatre direction by Mike Ashcroft (RSC, DV8, The Crooner). With some of the country's most inspiring and beautiful dancers and a live double bass player (not a dead one) it guarantees audiences a veritable smorgasboard of visual and dramatic surprises.
