Morelia Aqua Lab
at
Morelia University Mexico
The Aqua lab at the University is sited at the rear of the complex, as you enter through it's gates you are faced with a number of buildings set out in the shape of a horse shoe with numerous Concrete ponds in the center
Now if you are standing in the doorway of the Aquarium looking across the courtyard.to your right you would see the sight below. In the center, next to the students field trip coach is a water tower, and at the end of the Building to the left of this is the Preservation Lab. " Morelia has one of the oldest and largest collections of Preserved Goodied and other species in Mexico". And this is now regularly being added to.
Now while still standing in the same position as for the first shot, and looking slightly to your left you would see these ponds in the foreground with the students Biology Lab in the background then top left is one of the two Lecture halls that form he top of the horse shoe
Below at the top are the two lecture rooms
Now if you cross over to the other side of the courtyard and look back you will see the doorway into the Aquarium building
Once inside here is the north wall of the Lab as it is now but when we first found it in Feb 1998 there were just a Dozen or so aquariums here the remainder was empty for lack of funds.

Below
