The Lych-Gate and War Memorial
St. Mary's Church, Boulton-by-Derby

The Lych-Gate at Boulton St. Mary's Church was built in the early 1920's by Mr Joseph
Thomas Fisher as a Memorial to those of the parish who lost their lives in the Great War
1914 - 1919. An old photograph of the Lych-Gate can be found on the history section of

On Sunday 24th April 2005 the Memorial was Re-dedicated
following extensive refurbishment of the roof by Mr Mark Stafford
The Rev'd Tim Wright leads the congregation in the Act of
Re-dedication and Remembrance at the Lych-Gate, Boulton St. Mary's Church.
Let us remember before God and commend to his sure
keeping:
Those who have died ..... We will remember them.
