Is a toddler group for babies and children up to school age. Parents or grandparents and carers accompany the children as we all join together for fun and friendship.

We start the session with many toys and slides and bikes for the children to enjoy. Then after about 1/2 hour we have our 'See and Know' time for 15 minutes.

This is where we sing songs relating to the theme that week, put to well known tunes, which everyone soon picks up. Then we tell a short Bible story using visual aids. Finishing with another song or two this time with instruments for the children to play and this ends with a lovely little prayer.

After this it's time for a drink and biscuits and a chat. There is always a craft for the children that wish to do this, so they have something to take home.

Many families have made lasting friendships at Squeals as they come with young children and stay with us until the children go to school.

We have parties at Christmas, Easter and when we break for the summer holidays.

Everyone is welcome, we have a spacious room and the children learn how to share and how to make friends in a safe and happy environment.

Please do come along. I'd love to hear from you to give you full details so do give me a call.

Route 66 - Sunday School

This is our Sunday children's groups. We have a creche for the under 5's where we also do a 'See and Know' session which they love. We have 3 - 4 leaders, so they are very well looked after.

Then in the other room we have groups for 5-7, 8-11 and 11-13 years where we tell Bible stories and share our news and have a prayer time, our children love to chat so we give them plenty of opportunity and really encourage the shy ones to join in. We usually do a craft to go with the theme and play a game. All good fun!

We have family events during the year, a picnic in the summer and a party at Christmas and we hold a Holiday Club every afternoon for a week in the summer holidays where we have around 70 children who can't wait to come each day. Then we have a Light Party on 31st October with food, fun and games.

If you'd like your children to grow in confidence and learn from the Bible how much God loves them and wants to help them throughout their lives, then come and be part of all that's going on at St. Mary's, it's exciting and you will soon feel you belong and are part of our church family.

Ring me to find out more.
