These
pictures are odds and ends - some altered using Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro.
I could fill a CD with pages like these, but have exercised some restraint and
only added a few choice ones.
This
was taken from a belay in Wales. Easy climbing on Tryfan Fach meant I could
tie off the belay and snap this low shot. Contrast altered and sky added for
effect.

Rain
on Derwent Edge
Clare
and I caught a wild kitten almost two years ago. It now lives with us and is
a super cat. Here, the 10x zoom captures her meowls across the local village
green.
A
very heavy rain day in the Dark Peak. Here I dashed out from the cover of the
rocks to snap this low shot of the turbulance caused by the rain on a small
puddle.

This
is a total composite. The helicopter was on a training exercise we think. I
was belaying in Wales having reached a good stance. The copter was added to
the picture to lend it drama.

and I scouting out at Black Rocks, nr Matlock. Here Clare is seen with the lights
of Cronford in the background.
An old disused mill near where I live (now being renovated) has a wooden lock
on the watermill stream to throttle the flow. Here a winter shot captures the
ivy winding round it in the morning sun
