These pictures are odds and ends - some altered using Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro. I could fill a CD with pages like these, but have exercised some restraint and only added a few choice ones.
This was a sort of pastiche - The figure is my wife Clare, the trees were taken near our home and the copter was taken in the lakes... oha nd the clouds were taken somewhere in Wales I think

Bathing Starling
Sometimes a different perspective yields interesting results. Care taken though - putting an expensive digital camera near the waterline was risky. Here, Howden Dam rears in the background.
A starling having a bath in my Mother-in-law's bird bath. It and others spent fifteen minutes or so washing and playing.

Clare having fun in the Lakes. A set of walking crampons and an axe lends safety and lots of fun to an icy day in the hills, even at low levels like here.
