cordon prevented unnecessary traffic from entering the Derwent Valley for weeks.

the Pennine Way crosses the A57 the signs and tape were abundant to say the
least. I am the proud owner of the actual Moors Closed sign from here - taken
the day the ban was lifted.. tut tut

House and grounds suffered badly. As the main Baslow to Rowsley road cuts through
the park that houses Cattle Sheep and Deer, the precautions were strict.

Just
one of the tens of thousands of stiles that were taped up. Here, this one
leads from the road near Ashopton viaduct up onto the western side of the
derwent valley.

Hall, on the A6 from Matlock to Bakewell appeared to be shut permanently. The
car park here welcomes potential visitors with a keep out sign.
