About Tony
I live in Tansley near Matlock, Derbyshire, England, on the edge of the Peak District. I am 37, married to a wonderful girl - Clare, and work for a software company in a Technical managerial capacity with a small team of excellent people. I have lived around here since I was born apart from stints away during my university years. Most of our spare time is spent either walking, DIY, computer related fiddling about, digital photography, biking or climbing.
We have four cats and live next door to some excellent neighbours - a bonus believe me!
Future
plans - trips to the Dolomites and America (this year), Ice Climbing in Scotland
at PYB early next year, and possible Kilimanjaro trip with Jagged Globe next
year (may be the year after now though as we want to go back to the US) .
The idea is to do some major peaks though over the next few years.
I'd
love to walk the Appalachian Trail, or walk across the USA. Time and career
are bad bedfellows though! - so we'll have to see.
About Clare
Clare lives with me at our small house in Tansley. Originally from Somersham, Cambridgeshire (Flatlander!), she moved up to Sheffield in the late eighties to do her degree. Now 37 she is a nurse, currently working in Recovery after a long stint in Intensive Care. Loves Gardening, biking, travelling, walking and fussing the cats.
