0.2 Johann Philip Wilhelm Bauhahn. c.21 January 1789-14 March 1875 Nienburg. Married Wilhelmine Maria Cathrine Meyer 24 October 1816. Maria c.~1792-23 November 1847 Nienburg. (Tailor; Nienburg , Kingdom of Hannover, Germany [Nienburg is about 30 miles northwest of the city of Hannover and about 40 miles south of Bremen. It lies on the Weser River which flows into the North Sea]; (?) Married daughter of a [Lutheran?] minister in 1816; three or four sons emigrated)

1.1 Heinrich Wilhelm Bauhahn, c.25 May 1817-02 November 1873 (Tailor; born in Nienburg), Married Sophia Doroth. Charl. Caroline Kirchmeier (Gehrden?) on 22.10.1850.

1.2 Heinrich Friedrich Bauhahn. c.01 October 1820-. Possibly the Henry who went to America.

1.3 Georg Ludvig Edvard (Louis Sr.) Bauhahn , c.18 June 1823-30 July 1894. Born in Nienburg. Tailor. Emigrated to Vestervik, Sweden (a Baltic seaport town about 1848), and married there about 1850, Johanna Caterina [Catharina] Rehnström (2 August 1824-9 August [or 9 January] 1890; her father was mayor of Västervik, Sweden). In 1865 he emigrated to the USA and brought his family over in September 1867. He was a custom tailor in New York City with a shop on Broadway when he died. At one time [1865] he was in partnership with his brothers Henry and Augustus at 87 Orchard Street, later on his own at 316 E. 66th Street. He died (of acute peritonitis) aged 71, at 321 106th Street, New York. Buried in the Lutheran Cemetery, Brooklyn.

1.4 Andreas Friedrich Bauhahn, c.15 May 1826; born in Nienburg; lived in Bremen; did not emigrate; Sargeant. (?also worked for railroad system). Had two sons and five daughters.

1.5 Heinrich Diedrich (Henry Daniel) Bauhahn, 15 March 1830-24 February 1904; born in Nienburg; emigrated to New York and then Holland, Michigan; USA. From Irene Bauhahn: “Henry Bauhahn emigrated to U.S. in spring of 1851 after a stormy voyage of 12 weeks. He went to N.Y. once to see his brothers.” Two children.

1.6 Heinrich Diedrich Augustus Bauhahn, c.31.01.1835-~.12.1899 [Wednesday]. Born in Nienburg, Germany. Tailor. Emigrated to the USA 73 W. 115th Street; New York City) at the age of 19 years (New York City Directory of 1869 lists Augustus at 87 Orchard as a tailer; New York City Directory of 1890 lists a cutter August Bauhahn at 2154 Second Avenue; New York; USA). Married Pauline Dannewitz (c.1834 [Berlin, Germany]-January 1923 [USA]). Listed as partner in custom tailor firm in 1865 in NYC. One son and one daughter.

1.Q Wilhelm Bauhahn, emigrated to USA to New York City 1867 then to Michigan?; wife Elizabeth (Listed in 1866 New York City directory [widow of Henry] other records claim wife was: Cynthia Bixby, c.1829-1906?); four children). Name does not seem to match known sons of Johann Philip Wilhelm Bauhahn
