West Forest Ladies Circle Pamper Evening

West Forest Ladies Circle have organised a ‘Think Pink’ fund raising evening for the past five years or so. In 2004 they organised a very successful pamper evening, raising

£810 for Cancer Research UK.

Over 70 ladies came along to be pampered by a range of therapists and to do a spot of retail therapy. Some of the therapies available were reflexology, Indian head massage, Bi-aura, holistic face massage, Thai hand and foot massage, all very relaxing. Ladies could also have their nails painted and try out some new ideas with make up.

Jewellery, handbags, pashminas, candles and hand made cards were for sale. Many ladies took the opportunity to buy some very individual gifts and do some early Christmas shopping.

A pink tombola and raffle, with lots of lovely goodies donated by stall holders, helped the funds flow in.

The evening was supported by members of West Forest Tangent, and members from the adjoining Circles in Twyford and Reading Valley came along. A great evening was had by all, raising money for a very worthwhile cause.
