The Holker
Street ground was, and still is, the home of Barrow
AFC. Meetings were ran under an open licence in 1930. The ground
has since seen many alterations and it is now difficult to imagine that
Speedway was ever run there.

The track
was on the site of the old Barrow Rugby League ground. Houses now stand
on this site.

Situated
in an industrial area of the town. The small circuit was used on and
off for a number of years but crowds stayed away. A candle factory has
since been built on the site.
