Conspiracy, 1096 AF.

The festival of Conspiracy was hosted by the Communists on their lands of Athenry in Erin. It was supposed to be a purely social get together and a chance for relaxation before The Gathering.
I rapidly became clear that matters were coming to a head though. An awful lot of the people there had come across things recently which all appeared to be leading to Athenry. I happened to have some documents on me from some research I had been doing in Barothness which I hadn't had the chance to deposit before I left Caledonia.
On the Friday night the time was passed in the traditional way of such occasions, that is in drinking and singing. Even at this time I discovered that there were several other scrolls around and some of the pieces of a disc. At the time it was dark and it was obvious the scrolls were in an ancient script so I arranged for them to be brought together in the morning where they could be examined with a fresh mind in the light of day.
The following day the scrolls were brought together. One of them showed a diagram of a disc and there were also two others all in an ancient elvish script. Fortunately I had been researching into a way to translate this script on a second matter of my own and with a combination of the scroll I had from Caledonia and another it was eventually possible to translate the ancient scrolls, a translation of which I now present.

The last days of the Ice Elves it came to pass that the war between the elder and younger races ended. The war had terrible consequences. Many things of beauty had passed from the world never to return. It seemed that all the love and culture of the elder races would be lost forever.
To prevent this eventuality the disc of Nevee was created.
As the ice queen survived the devastation that was once her empire she called together the surviving members of her court and decided the following.
The queen and four of the most archetypal members of her court were imprisoned within the disc. Thus ended the empire of the ancient ice Elves.
Prophecy states that one day at a time of peace between elves and men at a time of darkness, at a place of peace between elves and man the ancients shall be with the desendents knowledge shall return.

The Disc of Nevee (A Speculative Guide).
Since the loss of the majik of the Incantors and the fall of the eldar races some seventy years ago, have devoted my life to preserving what remaining facets of elven culture survive.
The Disc itself appaers to be some form of time capsule. It seems to conatin five distinct patterns. It is possible to summon forth these patterns by the following method. First you need to find a being with a similar pattern (either a relative or someone subject to a temporary pattern alteration spell).. The closer to the origional the stronger the link. Second invoke the stone. When me and my colleague attempted to do this a rather pleasant spirit manifester in my pooworper and said "Please send me back, ther time is not yet right." Since the death of a prominent Latvian alchemist known to be experimenting with a skeleton of dust. We decided not to continue. The invocation we used was the following:-
By my power I summon forth Valaa from the amulet.

Prophecies of Marmaloidie the Mad.
An there shall come a time known as the end of the world. There shall be rains of assorted shellfish, calves ahll be born with two heads and whole flocks of sheep shall be found at sunrise facing the opposite way to that which they faced the night before.
The portent of these times shall be when the fire of ice are united as one. In ordert to prevent this time of darkness, this time of eternal suffocating jellyfish. Heed my advice.
When you discover the accursed disc it should on any account should you place the pieces together. If placed together nver utter the following invocation:-
By the powers of Kwessa, Annaa, Valaa Ankaa I summon forth the fell power of the ice queen from this amulet.
Also beware for me penguin Boris intends to invade western Slovenia.
In the afternoon there was a tournament of arms. Initially this was a one on one competition but after a while Shagnasty and the Orcs of the Rancid Tusk wanted a team competition. A team was arranged but at the last minute Mayhem and Disorder made an appearance and someone was stupid enough to invite them to take part. Mayhem then decided he didn't like Disorder and went to join Shagnasty which was a less than pleasant prospect given that I was on the opposing team which explains how I came to be fighting my second chaos warrior in as many months, an experience which I survived or I would not be writing this chronicle now.
Later in the day Schadel was also present and as night fell there was a meeting between Schadel and Mayhem. This was an interesting occurrence as the two had never met before and it had been noted that Schadel always seemed to vanish just before Mayhem turned up, a myth which has now been laid to rest.
By the evening all the pieces of the disc had been located and two of them had been invoked separately. The decision was taken by those present to ignore the warning on the scroll and perform the ritual to release the spirits trapped within the pieces of the disc. This was done. The spirits are now resident within the bodies of elves that were present at the time. Currently they appear to be in balance although I do not know what the long term effects of carrying two spirits may be on a body.
A Wraith also turned up in the evening and struck one of the fellowship with its sword, leaving a shard within the wound which was working its way towards the heart. The person was laid to rest in a enchanted area overnight preventing the progress of the shard and it was then ritually removed in the morning.
The Sunday was a quiet affair with people recovering from the effects of the night before.
