| 1897 | Founding of the Weimaraner Club of Halle. |
| 1906 | Threat of the Club disbanding through a split in opinion on the colour silver grey to fawn and very dark amendment to club for silver grey Weimaraners. |
| 1920 | Mixing of pointers with Weimaraners (Salzgitter/Thiede). |
| 1921 | Iligner repeats the culling of the brown colour. |
| 1922 | Herber secretary of the Club. |
| 1922 / 1924 | Registration of Weimaraner type dogs without pedigrees. |
| 1934 | Herber supports the Braque theory. |
| 1935 | The Longhair is Internationally recognized. |
| 1946 | Herber dies, Kuehr Magdeburg succeeds him. |
| 1949 | 96 puppies registered, 250 members recorded. |
| 1950 | Only trained dogs to be used for breeding. Blue/grey dog Caesar Von Geilberg exported to San Diego, used at stud against the Clubs policy. |
| 1951 | Weimaraner news founded. |
| 1956 | Club founded in the USA. |
| 1961 | Founding of a Club in Denmark. |
