Better known as a long time fanatical follower of both Killing Joke (the highly influencial &
legendary post-punk experimental rock band) and Chelsea Football Club (thanks Fuzz), I have now
become somewhat infamous for being a victim of rough justice. Thankfully, with this bitter
experience behind me, now I can just get on with my life and enjoy spending time with my friends
and family.

A rather intense day. Firstly Chelsea FC finally managed to turn over Arsenal in the league
for the first time in 10 years then it was off to the tiny Camden Barfly to see the
mighty Killing Joke. Sadly I didn't
manage to speak to our webmaster Jester (whose Benefit Gig it was) though I helped with
holding him aloft at some stage as Joe surfed the crowd.

Chelsea FC held an open training session today so a perfect opportunity to
take 12 day old Henry Roman
to Stamford Bridge for the first time. What a lucky geezer.

The stylish new Chelsea FC centenary season (1905-2005) home kit is out today and Daisy

Is little Henry Roman Adamiak a chip off
the old block ? Could it be my imagination or has the little chap (just like his father)
quickly developed a love for Queen circa 1974 ? Well, if he's feeling a bit grizzly, a soothing
blast of Queen II and/or their Sheer Heart Attack album seems to do the trick nicely and
he is out like a light.
Mind you, so am I !!!

Dawn & myself are thrilled to announce that little Henry Roman was born at 05:37 hrs BST today,
weighing in at 7lb 12oz (3.53kg). Mother & baby are doing fine although the arrival was not
without incident (after a long latent labour phase of 48 hours) and we are very grateful to the
medical staff at the QEII in Welwyn Garden City for their superb care & encouragement. A couple
of photos of the little chap can be viewed on my webspace, taken
with Dawn and
myself.

Despite all the recent turmoil, life goes on. Having recently been to see both the
departing Su-22M4's
(after a 6ELT exchange) at RAF Coltishall & the gloriously
sunny RAF Waddington airshow, I was
extremely grateful to get a last minute pass out to RIAT 2005 at
RAF Fairford, especially considering the imminent arrival of our Henry Roman. Amongst the numerous attractions on display, highlights
for me were a tigerish 6ELT Su-22UM3 and the
Hellenic AF RF-4E and
TA-7C. Plenty of photos taken there !!!

This was the day that every Londoner had feared. Whilst the G8 conference opened and many
people were reading their morning newspapers, high on the euphoria of winning the Olympic
bid,
terrorist bombs exploded in London. Whilst I commute into London myself almost every working
day, my sincere condolances extend to anyone caught up in or affected by this horrific attack.

A beautiful summer's day at RAF Waddington for the annual 2 day airshow. As ever not the best
place for photos but managed to 'graph the 4 Romanian AF MiG-21's plus serial number "614", a
343 Mira F-16D of the Hellenic AF.

It was the longest day of the year & FINALLY got to the legendary Hope And Anchor pub in Islington to see the
mighty Headcount. Maybe my last gig for quite some considerable time (ie. KJ tour in October 2005).

Oh dear, oh dear. After much soul searching and gnashing of teeth, I decided to go and see Killing Joke at the
temporary Wembley Arena Pavilion structure in a support slot to "Motley Crue" courtesy of an eBay "won" auction ticket !!! With
a 6.55pm start & only half an hour onstage, hardly the wisest £32.50 spent but another chance to catch up with a few of the chaps.

Never mind all the current anti-Chelsea FC press nonsense, we
won two trophies this season
and don't they look grand young Daisy !

Great to see a revamped website up at http://www.killingjoke.com. Hats
off to Jester for all his love and dedication to the cause. Plenty of Killing Joke activity ahead what with
recently announced Euro festival gigs and various remastered early albums on CD.

Two out of three ain't bad ! After the
FA Premier League title
was secured at Bolton last Saturday, the UEFA
Champions League 1-0 defeat at
Liverpool was a great opportunity for immortality spurned, but this is a young Chelsea side and they will
win many more trophies under the guidance of Jose Mourinho. My own spirits were raised somewhat last night
as this nation did the sensible thing and stuck with our Labour government for a
historic third term,
albeit with a reduced but sizeable majority.

How poignant it was the Chelsea Football Club finally won
the Premier League title at Bolton
Wanderers, being the place (albeit then at Burnden Park) where Clive Walker scored the famous
goal in 1983 that saved the Blues from sinking into the old Divison Three abyss, then in 1996
where Matthew Harding attended a League Cup tie before perishing
in that fateful helicopter crash. This time
a brace from the mighty Frank Lampard helped Chelsea to a
fine 2-0 victory.

It is St George's Day ... and the fiftieth anniversary of the day that Chelsea FC won the

Quite an eventful few days it has been since
the Bayern match.
After taking little Daisy & cousin Ben
to Legoland in
Windsor on Thursday, myself, Dawn and her brother Grant attended
the Malicious Damage Records night at
the Bull & Gate in Kentish Town & I saw
Big Paul Ferguson and Youth chatting at the bar on the same day that Pope John Paul II
was buried.
Then it was down to Stamford Bridge for
the Birmingham City game
whilst Charles and Camilla tied the knot &
delayed
the Grand National.
Then earlier on today it was off to Hatfield House where
Dawn and myself got engaged in the West Gardens.
Live like Kings and Queens.

Never mind the
Ballacks, we are the famous CFC. Despite the
recent UEFA
nonsense, it was a defiant Chelsea FC making a huge statement on & off the pitch last night
with a 4-2 win over Bayern Munich.

Quite an ambitious idea from Dawn & myself to take a 4 and a half year old to the Royal
Festival Hall yesterday but we just about got away with it. Daisy provided much entertainment
as Thom Yorke and Jonny Greenwood joined the London Sinfonietta & others onstage at
the "Ether 2005" festival.

Dawn's 20 week scan took place today at the QE2 in Welwyn Garden City & thankfully all is okay.
One of the ultra scan photos can be
viewed here. Could we be having a
little Henry Leon ? It's odds on apparently. Oh, and Chelsea FC were
formed 100 years ago
today, in a public house currently known as The Butcher's Hook (then known as The Rising Sun) ... not the only birthday
today eh Grant !?! Cheers matey.

What a fantastic evening that was ... CHELSEA FC 4 FC BARCELONA 2 (5-4 on aggregate) ...
despite the sore loser antics from some of the Catalan team's dejected players, we managed
to go for a post match drink
with Damien Duff & Ronaldinho ...
allegedly ... LOL

A crazy week is now over ... harsh cup defeats at Newcastle & Barcelona for Chelsea
followed by victory yesterday
in the "Carling" League Cup Final at the Millennium Stadium, Cardiff as we witnessed the first trophy
of Jose Mourinho's reign at Stamford Bridge.
Before that the 2 nights of Killing Joke at
the Shepherds Bush Empire were a chance to catch up with friends old and new whilst celebrating the existence of a
legendary band whose music and attitude has left the greatest imprint on my own life and beliefs.

Let's all go ... to the Fire Dances ... two days to go to the Shepherds Bush Empire and the tension builds ... the mighty
Killing Joke were back on stage at the Akropolis venue in Prague last night & some rather nifty photos

It is reported on the BBC that back in the year 2003 the late US
writer Hunter S Thompson said "Fiction is
based on reality unless you are a fairy-tale artist. You have to get your knowledge of life from somewhere. You have
to know the material you're writing about
before you alter it." Yep, that pretty much sums up Granada TV's "Planespotting" drama in my humble but honest opinion.

A week to go to the first KJ gig at the Empire, and some evidence of future KJ plans courtesy of a Raven interview
with Mad Maz on the Total Rock radio/web show : Killing Joke to start recording
a new album after these shows, mixing in Cairo, travel to Far East/India, 12 shows in the USA plus 5 shows in Canada & a UK
tour in the pipeline. The new drummer is rumoured to be Ben Calvert.

A rather subdued past few weeks what with Asian tsunami disaster illustrating so graphically how one's notion of a perfectly
safe holiday can so tragically go wrong by being in the wrong place at the wrong time but plenty now for myself to look
forward to over the next couple of months (providing that I get over this rather nasty bout of chicken pox) culminating
in the UCL 2nd leg vs FC Barcelona at Stamford Bridge on 8th March 2005. Before then a
reformed Gang Of
Four play the Shepherds Bush Empire a month before the two eagerly awaited Killing Joke
"25th Anniversary" gigs. Add
to that a Henry Rollins "Shock and Awe" spoken word show at the Hammersmith Apollo and
plenty of intriguing Chelsea FC matches to keep us on the edge of our seats during these winter months.
Now come on you Blues !

Tonight I was due to attend an advance screening of Granada TV's "Planespotting" drama (based upon events in
Kalamata), which is scheduled to be shown on the ITV1 channel
on Sunday 20th February 2005, but this afternoon I have been diagnosed by my GP
with chicken pox at the ripe old age of 40.
Lovely. It also rules out tomorrow evening's Chelsea match plus the launch party for the
new Fair Trials Abroad offices at London Bridge that
I had been invited to attend on Friday. That is a great shame as I have upmost respect for the work FTA did towards securing
our acquittal in Greece. So it's solitary confinement for me until the end of the week at least.
