Will be off for a couple of weeks shortly to celebrate the other halfs special birthday.............no I wont tell as I like all my body parts in their current locations.......

Just moulded the late Russian Dragoon and Curassier remakes and will hope to have them available at the end of March.

Other work on hand at the moment is some freelance stuff and the intital releases in the forthcoming 20mm WW2 range.

Time to consider the year ahead design wise.

Having got a lot of remakes/remoulds out of the way can actully get new things on the go.

02/01/2015

Well another New Year begins.

Just back from spending Christmas and New Years in Berlin ( first time back since the Wall came down) and a very nice time was had. Nice to have a white Xmas without having to struggle through the snow to get work done.

Lots of Napoleonics in the works, specifically some Dutch/Belgian types, some additions to the Spanish and a rework/additions to the Ausrtian artillery. A few remakes will also pop up as a number of production moulds are nearing the end of their useful lives.

For the WW2 finally have the jeeps nearing completion ( at last) and they will emerge over the year in various giuses. Some additions to the Ruskies ( Siberians and Scouts) Greatcoat Germans and Americans. Hope to have some artillery crews for French and Italians. The AWI is due a couple of cavalry codes and the Indians. For the 10mm a few bits and bobs for Gauls ( mainly some warband type redo's and British Charriots) and Romans. The Polybian Roman /Carthage range will be hovering around not going to rush things as the sudden explosion of the period in 28mm means we will wait till those that start the period in 28mm discover that though plastics maybe cheaper than 28mm metals they take just as long to paint anyhow lol Maybe then they will consider something in 10mm.A major addition will be a range of 20mm WW2 figures, initially tank crews and then perhaps some other vehicle crews and infantry. Should be fun!As always the above list is theoretical, until its in a mould its only an idea.Suggestions and feedback are always welcome.

Spent Christmas in Rome & Venice and brought a few interesting pics back ( ok about several hundred).

One place for wargamers/historians not to miss is

Museo della Civilta Romana a bit south of the centre. Has lots of stuff that takes up too much space in the 'normal' museums including a complete plaster cast of Trajans column in seperate panels at ground level. Lots of other goodies. Nearby is a Museum of the early Medieval period with a bunch of Lomabard stuff. The Etruscan galleries on the upper floors of the Vatican Museum are a must see too.

The Russians in winter jackets are now available.

A few pictures of the Revolutionary period Austrians we have been working on for a while. Not sure of release date as still a fair bit of work to do on the range and design time short, the pics are also the first public outing for a range of flags we have been working on.

Well another year nearly over a tough one for all of us.

Work on the Ceasarians continues and they will begin coming out in the New Year.

We have now decided the future plans for the 200th ancients range. When we finish the Ceasarians we will go on into the Augustian period and take the range to the end of the lorca segmenta. A bit predictable I know but I am a big Roman fan ( having them in 6mm, 25mm and 15mm alrready). This will be a long time project so in the meanwhile we have decided to do a range of figures for the the Normans in Italy ( read the John Julius Norwich books if you dont know it).

We will begin with a range for the Normans, then the Lombards/Italians and ending with the Byzantines. Its a fantastic period with some great looking armour so should be fun, just hope it sells! lol

Working on various WW2 ranges at the moment, more details later.

Have a good Festive break and see you when back from a much needed break in Paris, lot of work to do in Les Invalides.

Welcome to a new section on the website.

Decided to put various notes and jottings here as the NEWS page gets a bit crowded.

Done the final show of the season and would like to thank everyone who came along to see us.

On the design bench at moment are the 10mm Gallic Light cavalry and the Chiefs and body guards. Casulties and a few odds and ends to do.

We also are working through the Caesarian Romans and hope to have these available in the New Year.

The Russian WW2 winter range is on the way.

Just about come to a conclusion as to how the 10mm ranges are going to develop, more on this later.
