Uniform descriptions: When 'tunic' is used this refers to the standard style of the period with cut away lapels and turnbacks. 'Rifle tunic' is pretty obvious. 'Hat' refers to the standard bicorne/tricorne style of the period, 'round hat' refers to the 'Pilgrim fathers' style of soft brimmed hat, 'Mitre' grenadier caps are the standard tall fronted type of the period. 'Cap' refers to the large number of types of helmets.
The Militia types are dressed in a wide variation of the typical civillian style of the period.

Design notes: Been a long time coming but the AWI range is finally underway. We hope that it does a lot better than the SYW ! We have taken the commercial risk of producing a full three poses ( firing, advancing and marching) for each code despite history telling us that most will only choose marching poses. Please if you can possibly bring yourself to do it, buy some of the other poses. The armies at this scale are small enough for duplicate posed units particularly for the Light infantry.

As many of you will know we aren't great fans of packed figures but we have had to pre pack the AWI range for the simple reason that we don't have anymore room to store individual strips! You'll also see that the AWI range is more expensive than others, sorry about that but its based on the potential sales we predict, if as I hope, we are wrong and the range does well we shall maintain the price structure so in real terms the AWI range will get cheaper over time ( note there is a price increase due for the other ranges soon, rising cost I'm afraid).
