A rare example of a men's wrapper from the Nupe, with a third panel and extra length compared to the two panel women's cloths. The weaver on this piece appears to have decided to include every pattern she knew, in a busy, rather over the top effect. A few highlights in lurex have been included, suggesting a date in the late 1970s foe this piece which is in excellent condition.
