Beautiful and finely woven Asante woman's cloth. On this rare early cloth the weft floats and weft faced bands are  woven with silk rather than rayon, on a blue and white cotton ground.  Dates from circa 1900-20. It is quite worn in places, particularly towards the end borders.  .
