Very rare style of cotton kente with white supplementary weft float patterns on a dark blue and white pinstripe ground. While blue on white cloths are common this reverse arrangement is extremely unusual with only around 5 known examples. Among the weft designs the Asante name KOFI is spelt out (eight strips up in photo.)  Dates from mid C20th and is in excellent condition.
