Charming and unique skirt cloth from the Bozo people of Mali. The Bozo are fishermen along the Niger, including at Jenne where this cloth was collected. Recently made but showing slight signs of wear this cloth has hand embroidered decoration, including a fish and two teapots, on a hand spun indigo dyed cotton ground.
