Larger than is typical of woman's cloths this is a beautiful example of the style of Bondoukou cloth where pattern is created in rows across the cloth. In this case alternating weft stripes of red and white are aligned at regular intervals in a subtle but strikingly effective cloth. Dates from early in the C20th and in superb condition.
