Beautiful C19th or early C20th woman's wrapper cloth with a complex and sophisticated layout that alternates rows of weft faced blocks with composite blocks of weft float and weft faced patterns. This cloth is extremely worn and faded but retains a strong visual impact as well as documentary interest.
