Woman's hand spun cotton wrapper cloth collected in a village in the border area between north Ghana and Côte D'Ivoire. Red and white weft faced stripes are scattered to create an offbeat effect and visual interplay with subtle white weft stripes. Soft and worn but complete and in good condition overall, this cloth dates from early in the C20th.
