MEASURES: 129 inches x 74 ins, 330cm x 188cm

Exceptionally elaborate and unusual example of the weft faced style of Ewe weaving. These cloths are usually checker board layouts of plain squares but this piece has complex borders, groups of weft float motifs, and the owners name at the centre.  In excellent condition, dates from mid-twentieth century.
