Classic hand tailored and hand embroidered robe with the "eight knives" pattern on a background of hand spun cotton indigo dyed cloth called "Petuje" or literally "kill guineafowl, eat" meaning that it surpassed the "etu" with a larger scale check.  In excellent condition and dates from early decades of the C20th.
